Seller fee's
Thanks for joining, We have tried to keep the FEE'S as cheap as possible, and do not charge for little things like bold and highlighted items, and unlike all auction sites your items are advertised on a two week basis not seven or 3 days, we do how ever have bills to pay like everybody else so we hope you find that our fee's are refreshing enough for you to stay with us.
You will also notice unlike ebay we do not charge a fixed lump sum for selling such items as cars,house boats and so on, we would much prefer you to auction these items just like any other, Also every item/business ad you place on this site, is indexed on our unique search engine which is picked up by GOOGLE and YAHOO and will be high ranked in any searchs.
We do charge a commission for the items you sell, which you will find is alot less than all other sites, we also charge for classified and fixed price items, we find this is only fair as most of these will be placed by business's,
AUCTION FEE'S
Bonus Amount: £200.00 This is paid to your account for signing up to the site, we may at times also award you with more free money, for promotions or bonus's for using the site well, it can only be used for site fee's and is none redeemable, and can not be used to pay for items.
Auction Fees: £ 0.00 This amount will be deducted when a member posts an auction which last for a minimum of two weeks and can be extended for extra days at an amount of 0p per day.
Dutch Auction Fees: £ 0.00 This amount will be deducted when a member posts a dutch auction.
Fixed Price Item Fees: £ 1.50 This amount will be deducted when a member posts a fixed price item also known as a buy it now item.These items are free of commission fee's this is why we charge a small amount for advertising in this way
Classified Fees: £ 1.50 This amount will be deducted when a member posts a classified.these are business ads,services, or genuine fixed price items, these ads will always feature on the front page of the site. We monator all items, any items we feel should be classified items which have not been placed as such, we will remove and you will be advised to replace it as a classified item, THESE items are free of commission this is why we charge a small amount for advertising in this way
Extending Duration Fees: £ 0.00 per day This amount will be deducted when a member extends duration of an item.after the alotted time
Featured Fees: £ 0.00 This amount will be deducted when a member makes an item as Featured.this makes your item appear as a thumb nail in search quiries, with a brief discription, and places your ad before unfeatured items.
Front Featured Fees: £ 1.00 This amount will be deducted when a member makes an item as Front Page Featured, so it appears on the front page of the site in the yellow high lighted box's, this is rotated by the site on a daily basis, and when the page is refreshed, so everybody who pays for the feature gets a fair amount of advertising, It is also indexed by google, and will appear in search results on the net
Gallery Featured Fees: £1.00 This amount will be deducted when a member makes an item as Gallery Featured,this is the same as Front Featured itmes, but will be a Gallery picture on the front page of the site, and is rotated fairly each time the front page is veiwed, it will also bring your item up before others in any search results on the site.
Bold Fees: £ 0.00 This amount will be deducted when a member makes an item as Bold. We do not see it fit that you should be charged for making your text darker than normal, and unlike other sites we will not be charging you for this.
Highlighted Fees: £ 0.00 This amount will be deducted when a member makes an item as Highlighted. Same as above, we do not see it fit to charge for this feature
Paid Images: 4 image(s) for £ 0.00 This amount will be deducted when a member posts more images than FREE images allowed for an item.YOU ARE ALLOWED FOUR IMAGES FREE OF CHARGE.
After Sale Fee's, This is charged when you sell an item, not when it is unsold, so when you sell something we, like all other online or other auction companys charge a percentage of your final selling FEE otherwise known as commission.
Range: £0.01 - £30.00 Commission: 4.50 percent
Range: £30.01 - £100.00 Commission: 3.50 Percent
Range: £100.01 - £1000.00 Commission: 2.50 Percent
Range: £1000.01 - £2000.00 Commission: 2.00 Percent
Range: £2000.01 - £10000.00 Commission: 1.00 Percent
EXAMPLE.....If you sold an item for 250.00 we would charge for our commission as follows,For the first 30.00 = 4.50 Percent then for the remainding 75.00 which is between the 30.00 to 100.00 + 3.5 percent + the remainding 150.00, which is between the 100.00 to 1000.00 + 2.50 percent, our commission would be...£10.50 which is less than it would cost you to advertise in you local news papers, and a dam site cheaper than it would cost you on some other auction sites like ebay,
CLASSIFIED FEE this is set for £1.50 This should only be used for cars,property,commerciel vehicles,motor cycles,boats,business services.
